Ancient Geek Artifacts (NC-17)

Written for en_vyin the prime_not_prime ficathon challenge.
en_vy asked for Sheppard/McKay or McKay/Zelenka, difficult emotions, humorous sex, and no weird sexual kinks. I think I managed it…

They'd found the Ancient equivalent of a whiteboard and dry erase markers in one of the out-of-the-way labs, and the scientific contingent had all but danced naked in the hallways. For all the technology they had at their disposal, there was something about working equations out on the functional equivalent of pen and paper that was almost necessary to the hard sciences. Granted, the boards were more like opaque gray glass with black markers, but still, they were whiteboards.

Radek Zelenka had managed to appropriate one of the boards for his lab, and was happily transferring over his latest power equations from the computer to the board, seeing right away where he'd been incorrect and reworking those parts before going on to the rest. He didn't hear Rodney enter the lab as he muttered to himself in Czech. He did jump about a foot in the air when Rodney spoke.

"Damn, is that a whiteboard?"

Radek turned to see Rodney standing in the doorway, staring at the board in a mixture of awe and glee.

Radek pushed up his glasses. He'd forgotten Rodney had been off-world when the boards had been found. "Ancient whiteboard, yes. Some things are universal, apparently, including the need to draw equations on something other than a computer screen," he added with a smile. "Although this is better than the ones at the SGC -- it connects directly to the computers to transfer the data."

"Wow," Rodney said, walking forward into the room. The door shut behind him.

"Yes, wow," Radek echoed, turning back to the board. He frowned as he noticed another problem with his equation and began berating himself in Czech as he fixed it. He kept one ear open for the inevitable monologue Rodney would have on the theories behind the board. Rodney, however, remained silent. Radek finally looked up, frowning. Rodney was just staring at him. "What is wrong?"

Rodney opened his mouth to speak, then closed it, opened it again, and finally closed it before advancing on Radek.

Radek swallowed, recognizing the gleam in Rodney's eyes. "Door locked?" he asked as he put the cap back on the marker.

Rodney nodded as he unzipped his jacket and took it off. Radek did the same, pulling his shirt off as well. He cursed as his glasses got tangled in his hair and shirt, tugging and stopping at he felt fabric tear.

Rodney's hands moved Radek's away and gently untangled the shirt, hair, and glasses. He pulled off the shirt and put Radek's glasses back on his face, smirking. Radek glared at him and pulled him close, fastening his mouth onto Rodney's with a hot and wet kiss, moving so that their bodies were close and he could feel Rodney's erection against his own.

He pushed Rodney back against the table, fisting his hands in Rodney's shirt. Rodney squirmed closer to Radek, his tongue examining Radek's dental work. He broke off the kiss and tugged at Radek's hands. "Shirt off," he panted.

Radek pulled Rodney's shirt off and tossed it on the floor, his mouth going straight for Rodney's nipples as his hands tugged at Rodney's zipper. Rodney moved back to give Radek room, and cursed, pushing Radek away.

"What the hell?" He reached behind him and pulled out what appeared to be the Ancient version of a castle for a fish tank.

"Do not ask," Radek said, taking it from Rodney and setting it on the far side of the table. Rodney was moving other objects to one side, clearing a space. He pulled Radek to him and pushed him against the table before dropping to his knees and undoing Radek's pants, pulling them and his boxers down to suck in Radek's cock.

Radek moaned, hands scrabbling for purchase on the worktable. "Proboha!" he swore, thrusting into Rodney's mouth.

His radio crackled in his ear. "Dr. Weir to Dr. Zelenka."

"Fuck," Radek said, trying to push Rodney away. Rodney looked up, hurt. Radek gestured to his earpiece. Rodney huffed, but sat back, his hand still on Radek's thigh.

"Go ahead, Dr. Weir."

"Have you seen Dr. McKay? He's late for the post-mission debriefing." Dr. Weir sounded concerned.

Radek looked down at Rodney. He should tell Dr. Weir that Rodney was here with him, and would be at the meeting in a minute. But Rodney had been off-planet for a week, working with allies on something that would hopefully be of use against the Wraith. Radek hadn't intended to turn Rodney on with the whiteboard, but he didn't want to pass up this opportunity. Past experience had taught both of them that things could go from one extreme to the other in less than a heartbeat.

Radek's sense of duty warred with his desire for Rodney. The two eventually reached a compromise, meaning Radek didn't have to lie to Dr. Weir. "I believe I saw him heading for a lab down here. Shall I go find him for you?"

"Yes, please," Dr. Weir replied. "Weir out." The radio clicked off. Radek looked down at Rodney, who was smirking.

"You need to find me? I thought I was more impressive than that."

Radek shook his head and slid down to join Rodney on the floor. "Miserable little man," he said affectionately before kissing Rodney. He pulled back a bit to breathe. "I could not lie to Dr. Weir, but I am not letting you run off so quickly," he explained as he undid the fastenings to Rodney's pants, reaching in to pull out Rodney's cock. He began stroking it, smiling as Rodney moaned before moaning himself when Rodney's hands returned the favor.

Rodney kissed him as they both stroked each other to climax, Rodney tearing his mouth away to gasp Radek's name. Radek bit Rodney's shoulder to keep from yelling.

Finally Rodney moved, looking down at himself. "I need to change before meeting Elizabeth."

Radek nodded before getting to his feet and holding a hand out to Rodney. He gestured with his other hand to a cabinet. "Clean uniforms in there. Yours and mine," he added with a pointed glance to the charcoal jacket on the floor.

"Why -- never mind, of course you do," Rodney said as he discarded his pants and retrieved a clean pair, along with a fresh pair of boxers.

"Someone has to be the smart one," Radek said smugly as he fastened his own pants. He glanced at the whiteboard again, seeing a problem with the equation. He reached for the marker.

Rodney whimpered. "You couldn't wait until I'm gone to start working again?"

Radek looked at Rodney over the top of his glasses. "You are still here?" he asked with a gleam in his eyes.

"Funny, very funny."

"There is a whiteboard in your quarters," Radek said casually.

"Really?" Rodney sounded like a kid at Christmas. "Why?"

"So it could not be, shall we say, appropriated from your lab before you returned. There were not enough for every scientist who wanted one." Radek smiled. "If you did not have one, we would never hear the end of it."

Rodney huffed again. "Of course I should have one! Hello, Chief Scientist here."

"Chief Scientist who is going to be late for his meeting," Radek reminded him.

Rodney seemed to deflate at bit, before glancing at Radek mischievously. "So, whiteboard in my quarters? We can work on the latest theory to power the shields?"

Radek shook his head, but smiled in response. "If you go to your meeting and let me finish this, yes."

Rodney bounced on his toes and left the room. Radek shook his head and reached for his radio. "Dr. Zelenka to Dr. Weir."

"Go ahead."

"I found Dr. McKay. He is on his way to the meeting right now."

"Thank you, Doctor." Weir sounded amused. "I hope he wasn't involved in something too important."

Radek considered his response. "Everything Rodney does is important to him," he finally answered.

There was a pause before Weir answered. "I believe you're right, Doctor. Thank you."

"You are welcome. Zelenka out." Radek turned back to the whiteboard, regarding the problem again, and smiling when he thought of working with Rodney later tonight.

He hadn't told Rodney that he had appropriated the colored dry erase markers for their exclusive use. He couldn't wait to see Rodney's reaction to Radek writing equations in teal.
