Gwerydd verch Rhys

I am Lady Gwerydd verch Rhys, daughter of Rhys ap Gwion, current resident of the March of St. Martin in the northern kingdom of Ealdormere. I am an early period Celt. My father, Rhys ap Gwion, lived in what is now Northern Wales and was a Brythonic trader. He came to the tribe of my mother in Ireland and became attracted to her. While no true commitment was made, I was conceived. Once my father saw me, he asked that I be named in the tradition of his people and so I was named Gwerydd verch Rhys, or Gwerydd daughter of Rhys. I lived with my mother's tribe until I left home and found Ealdormere.
