Spanish Cultural Centre : New West, Bc

My FIRST party! Expecting some crazy ass warehouse party with people doing drugs everywhere and lots of gay guys dressed up in fun fur and candy; I was suprised to see that it was being held in a cultural centre, right on a main road, with the beat being able to be heard from the street and the lightshow visable thru the windows! Not so hidden...i thot for sure this would be busted =P Little did i know almost ALL parties were held at this place =P So me and my friend brandon got in, the first person that talked to us, asked us if we needed drugs, but other than that, I saw no sign of drugs the whole night! so i thot that whole thing about drugs at raves was over-rated. As for the party. I was just BLOWN away. Like i have ALWAYS been into this kinda music, but never had heard it to this level! I was just in awe over the music. Fell in love right away, with the whole thing, the lights, atmosphere, music, and people. So when this night came to an end, I just couldnt wait for my next chance to go to another one.

Riverside Banquet Hall : Richmond, Bc

Heh, so i didnt even go a week without going to another party. I was SUPER stoaked for this, after the last weekend at Iris. The night started at the Spanish again =P Riverside wasnt set up yet. At about 1 i got a ride with some people i met here to Riverside. We got there only to find a big-ass line up outside. Didnt get in till probably 3...But once i got in....wow...i was just in awe all over again! hahaha....this venue was MUCH bigger than the last one i was at....the lights, visuals, sound, everything seemed colosal! I just cudnt contain myself....i started dancing and didnt stop the whole night (wasnt on ANY drugs either). I met cool friendly people everywhere i went....this has to be one of my favorite parties, just because of the magic it all held back then. I got my first piece of Candy at this party from Maranda.

Spanish Cultural Centre : New West, Bc

This was my grad night, so the night started off at the Vancouver convention centre downtown, with all my highschool friends, enjoying our last party together at the end of our 13 years of school. Heh....but me being all caught up in raves now, barely cud care-aless about my grad. I just wanted to get to the party I had tickets for! So instead of going to house parties with the rest of the people from my school....me and my friend brad left grad a bit early to go to the spanish cultural centre yet agaiN! =P for Pajama Jam!! An all night Pajama Party! haha yeah it was fun stuff.. And we werent the only people from our grad there either....i noticed a few other kids from school too. The party was fun just like the last ones id been to...danced my ass off in big moose slippers, hehe and fell even more in love with the scene that was ever so growing on me at the time.
