A Book For Such A Time As This
The shelves are filled with books about Y2K, so why another one? I truly believe that the Lord has called me to write this book for such a time as this. I have been teaching and sharing information about Y2k, for over a year. At first, Y2K was just a prayer target. Recently, I have felt compelled to share with Proverbs 31 women, the significance of this event. It is not just about a computer fluke, but rather a wake up call, for us all.

Most Christians will admit that we are in the last days of life, as we know it. It is an exciting time for those of us who know Him as our personal Lord and Saviour. For those who do not know Him, life goes on as usual. This is not a book written for the non-believer, looking for a survivalist manual on mapping out a garden or hoarding canned goods. It is a biblically based book on being prepared. More importantly, it is about being a Proverbs 31 woman of today, reading, researching, fasting, praying and then acting to make a difference.

This is not a book for everyone. It is for women who truly understand what it is like to have a responsibility for saving lives. Queen Esther in the Bible understood in a time very similar. She accepted the responsibility and responded. We must do the same. It is not just about the Y2K crisis, but rather the next crisis, the next, and then, the next.

The Bible speaks of disasters in diverse places. Matthew 24:6-8 6) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8) All these are the beginning of sorrows. His word also tells us that He will do nothing without warning His prophets. As an oracle of God, I must be obedient, and speak forth the message that He has shared with me to share with others. We must be ready to respond to the upcoming disasters. If not you, then who? If not now, then when?
