Yaoi, yuri, and lemon.
Amazing as the thought is, there are people out there
who have never heard these terms, or, if they have, have no idea what they mean. Therefore, I am putting here a simple explanation of these three terms. Yaoi first. Come here, guys. *Ash and Gary come out of the Pokemon section* Kiss. *Ash and Gary kiss* That's yaoi. Guy-guy relationships. Yuri next. Girls? *Sora and Mimi come out of the Digimon section* Kiss. *Sora and Mimi kiss* That's yuri. Girl-girl relationships. Last, but DEFINITELY not least, lemon.
*Heero and Duo come out of the Gundam Wing section. Duo is grinning* Hmmmm. I think I'll skip the demonstration for this one, and just explain verbally. *Duo looks disappointed* Lemon is graphic sexual situations. Yaoi, yuri, het, it's a blanket term. If it has two characters getting it on, it's lemon. It's not lemon if you have the characters kiss, get into bed, then skip ahead to afterward. That's lime, which is more mild and less graphic.
