History 
The University of Hong Kong

The University of Hong Kong is the oldest tertiary education institution
in Hong Kong. Its roots go back to 1887 when the College of Medicine was established. In
1911, The University of Hong Kong was formally founded. A year later, it opened its door
to students with teaching programmes in medicine and engineering.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Founded in 1963, The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a forward-looking
bilingual institution of higher learning. The University has 4 constituent colleges: Chung
Chi College, New Asia College, Shaw College, and United College.

The Hong Kong Baptist University

Hong Kong Baptist University, the former Hong Kong Baptist College, was
established in 1956. It occupies 3 campuses: the Ho Sin Hang Campus, the Shaw Campus and
the Baptist University Road Campus.
