Carmela grew up in Vegas her entire life. She knew that the Vincettis owned Sin City. What she didn't expect was to fall in love with one of them. But, she did, and she married one. Her husband Tony "The Snake" Vincetti was a boss in the Vincetti family. He was later killed by a street thug looking to make a name for himself. When Carmela found out, she killed the young man herself, along with his entire family. When the Vincettis learned what she had done, they were impressed with how Carmela handled things and gave her control over what had been her husband's territory.

Carmela is a trained boxer. She loves to reward those who have served her well, and deliver swift judgement to those who fail to meet her standards. She is happy with her position within the Family, and will stop at nothing to make sure she keeps it.
