NOTES
Referee Earl Hebner made the three count after Hogan raised his shoulder.  As a result, WWF President Jack Tunney ruled the title vacant and held a tournament.  Savage faced Ted DiBiase in the tournament final.
After two controversial matches between The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan, the title was ruled vacant and would be awarded to the winner of the Royal Rumble.  Flair won the Rumble and captured the title.
Hogan challenged Yokozuna right after he captured the title from Bret Hart.  Yokozuna accepted and Hogan defeated him in 25 seconds.  Yokozuna's title reign lasted two minutes and seven seconds.
The title became vacant when Shawn Michaels could not defend it due to injury.  A 4 corners elimination match occured between Hart, Vader, The Undertaker and Steve Austin for the title with Hart coming out on top.
The infamous match in which the WWF screwed Bret Hart.  Bret Hart was put in his own finisher, The Sharpshooter, by Michaels and the ref rang the bell on Vince McMahon's orders, dispite the fact that Hart did not submit.  This incident sparked the departure of Bret Hart from the WWF.
In a triangle match between Austin, The Undertaker and Kane, both Taker and Kane pinned Austin simulaneously.  As a result, the title became vacant and The Rock captured the title by winning the Survivor Series tournament, defeating Mankind in the final.
Mankind won a triple threat match including Austin and Triple H with Austin's title going to the winner.
Vince McMahon vacted the title because he didn't think he could live up to the expectations of a WWF Champ.  Triple H won the "Six-Pack Challenge" which also included Mankind, Kane, British Bulldog, The Rock and The Big Show to become champion.
The Big Show won the title in a triple threat match which included The Rock and Triple H.
Triple H's title was put on the line in a six man tag match.  To win the title someone from the team of The Rock, The Undertaker and Kane had to pin a member of Triple H's team, also including Vince and Shane McMahon.  The Rock pinned Vince McMahon thus winning the title.
