Script Ideas

Corporate Whores         My most recent idea came to me on a simple trip to Starbucks with Jessica and Kristina. A new Starbucks opened up in Ironwood plaza and they were having drinks by donation for a few hours. So we got 3 drinks for $4. As we were driving a few moments later, we got an odd stare from a car passing by, and the thought struck me that we must have looked like Corporate Whores - slaves to Starbucks. From that, I developed the idea of a script called Corporate Whores (in which we would not actually be Corporate Whores but quite the opposite.) More details to come when they are developed. Untitled #1 (Heart Garbage)         The story of a girl who gets her heart ripped to shreds (more or less). This story operates in two different "worlds" so to speak - the real world (in which we see what actually happens) and then the inner world (where actions are turned to emotions and then back again, so you can see the effect that actions have on our souls). The outcome of the story may seem rather bleak, but that should appeal to the indie society and fit in quite nicely. Untitled # 2 (Love Story)         This film will closely follow the story that used to be here on my site. It will detail the journey of a woman through heartache and back again. This film will show the growth of the main female character and how she finds herself in the end. The main characters from my on-line story will be there - The Best Friend, The First Love, The Mistake and The One.  Lawn Ornaments: Criminal Intent           This short film is going to be filmed entirely with garden gnomes as opposed to real people. The plot is as of yet undeveloped, but there will be some sort of crime and justice in it. I maintain that any film with a garden gnome is worth watching, so I really look forward to filming this one. (The title actually came from a friend of mine. One evening while I was watching Law and Order, Lorne called me and misunderstanding what I was saying, thought I had said I was watching Lawn Ornaments. So from that misunderstanding, a title was spawned, while developed into this film idea.) Untitled # 3 (Me and the Girls)           This film has no sort of plot whatsoever, but Kristina, Jessica and I have been friends for a loooong time, and frequently will be doing something and say "that so has to be in our movie". So we are making a movie. There is just nothing developed for it yet. Untitled #4 (The Mystery of Al from 437)            A film that Laura and I are developing together that spawned from me walking around downtown and saying "you know what would be hilarious? If I walked around downtown one day and picked shit up off the ground and said "Look! A Clue!!" and you filmed me. " From that sentence, many more plot developments ensued, and we will be filming a mystery in the streets of Vancouver... so be careful what you litter. It just may end up on the big screen for the world to see.
