Game 1: D-Day | |||
Bubba Gump commending the Hustler on his fine play |
![]() |
It was a cold
day, a very cold day. The newly formed Hawaiian Hillbillies had taken the
field for the first time. Despite the opening day jitters they managed to
destroy the opposition single-handedly in almost two innings. After that, despite a large degree of sucking on the part of the Hillbillies a new star emerged. That star was Warren Reynolds, henceforth dubbed the Hustler. The Hustler himself personified the body of the hillbilly spirit. Despite the turmoil surrounding the new crop of rookies, namely Boner and Trish E Trish the Billies managed to stave off a late state charge by the staters. When the dust finally settled the Billies had won the opener by two runs.
