In the 9th, the hitting prowess of Hurricance Harriet and Porn Lover put the 'Billies in good position to overtake the Ball's for victory with two runners on and only down by two runs....Charlie Brown singles in Hurricane with a solid hit to centre field. With one out, the game comes down to at-bats by team leaders Bubba Gump and Captain Ron.
The only thing in the way of certain victory for the 'Billies is the dreaded closer for Be The Ball, the nefarious BIG UNIT..... known throughout the league for his dreaded split fingered fast ball and his even more devilish lefty right uppercut slider... the BIG UNIT can intimidate even the most experienced hitter....
And so the stage was set.... for Bubba Gump to fly out to right field... two down..... one out to go... one hitter between Be the Ball and victory...that man's name.. i gave it away two paragraphs ago... he's been in this spot before... he knows what to do.... certain victory.. the 'Billies are on the edge of their bleachers... Cap'n Ron digs in... adjusts his crotch... spits some tobacco on the umpire... isn't that Rusty?..... first pitch.. in the dirt... typical BIG UNIT fashion.. throw the hitter off...
...next pitch... BIG UNIT busts Captain Ron inside for an infield pop-up... and the game is lost 13-12... but, thanks to the good nature of the team, no one blames Captain Ron or Bubba Gump for the loss at all!!!!!!
