Game 3: A New Day Begins

Little Hitler burning the midnight oil, crunching the numbers and answering the eternal question, "Who is really at first?"

It was a dark and stormy night. The 'billies took on the Ballers, and succumbed by only 3 runs in a hard-fought duel, despite being mercied in the second inning. The early deficit was slowly whittled down through a great team effort, particularly a stellar fielding performance by Hot Bath and some fine batting by Rusty.

Hot Bath made two dazzling grabs in one inning and Rusty had a sizzling 5-5 performance at the plate to keep the game within reach for the 'billies. As well the BIG UNIT, clearly still hurting from his torn rotator cuff, returned to his cy-young pitching form of the late nineties. There was a brief scare when the BIG UNIT nearly crippled fellow star pitcher Bubba Gump with a wayward line drive, but thankfully the little girls in Bubba's math class had helped him with his footwork..... perhaps in a game of hop-scotch?

But the real story of the game was the new team manager Jen "Hey thats MY wife" Caravaggio. Despite Jen's initial apprehension in scoring the game "Little Hitler" as she is now known, whipped the 'Billies into shape and kept the game going smoothly.
