Game
5 saw the 'Billies come-in like a lion, and exit like a lamb. A fiercely
competitive time bandits team took it upon themselves to injury each and
every member of your Hawaiian Hillbillies. To quote the captain of the
Dastardly Time Bandits, Captain Evil, "If you cant beat 'em, BEAT THEM." The
Time Bandits succumbed in a hard fought battle 13-11 to a hurtin billy team. Most notable on the injury list was TTT, who cleverly redirected a ball of his head to secure the go aHEAD run in the 4th inning. Tractor Trailer, in an effort to cover his clearly intentional interference, cleverly performed the old dive and roll play, and managed to head-but the ball out of play. Nice acting Tractor Trailer! The Big Hurtin Unit also took a fine shot off of his already swollen unit, courtesy of Bubba Gump. This evens the tally at 2 shots apiece for each pitcher. Lets hope somebody can break the single season, hit the pitcher mark of 47 set by "Hammerin' Harmon" in the late 1900's. Another point of note was the 'Billies excellent D-Fence shown in the top of the 9th inning. The was capped by the Hustler himself showing the 'Billies patented dive and roll technique. Sadly, The Hustler performed a "Dive and Roll" that would have scored 10 from even a corrupt French Judge, yet was disqualified because he forgot one thing...the ball! The double H's should be commended for beating a fine team like the Time Bandits, particularly being one girl short. Redlegs was particularly conspicuous in her absence, although the 4 for 5 performance of Croooothers more than made up for the lack of Red legs.
