Short review from Robert Uebbing:
I found this boot the other weekend at a record fair in Berlin. The quality is reasonably good (soundboard ?). The disc can be compared to Steppin' On a Dream, although not quite as "jazzy". But beautiful horns throughout the Dublin gig. All in all an excellent recording with Van at his best. Sorry, no musicians on the inset and I not dare trying to list them ;-). Oh yes, you can hear Van singing "Whenever God Shines His Light" together with Cliff Richard live.
