All songs recorded at The Forum in Leverkusen, Germany on 18/10/96, where Van guested with the Candy Dulfer Band. Tracks 6-9 also feature Mavis Staples.

Notes: Van-L list member Dave Linn thinks that this must be a soundboard recording. "Its one of the best ones out there that I've heard, and playing with both Candy Dulfer, and Mavis Staples had Van in a playful mood. Its a wonderful recording of a wonderful fun performance. Highly recommended".

From Van-L list member Cuttsy:
The rather drab and unexciting artwork of this CD suggests nothing of the delights which lie within. I like this boot a lot although its disappointingly short at just less than an hour. The sound is excellent probably from an FM stereo radio broadcast or perhaps from the Rockplast TV broadcast in Germany. The charm of this boot is that Van is unhomed, playing with the Candy Dulfer Band. Which results in a different sound from many other recent performances. VTM is in good voice and Candy Duffer's sax excellent. Addition of Mavis staples vocals to this makes for something a little special. The performance varies from a punchy funky sound to real soul and blues. For me "Your Mind Is On Vacation" and "I'll Take Care of You", stand out. The latter at times is so laid back its almost horizontal. "Vanlose" is great with fine sax from Candy, lovely guitar solo, Van in Yoh-del-eh mood and culminating in a no-holds-barred "TET". Ace. Of the boots I've heard this is one of my favourites, on a par with Edinburgh Castle.
