Celtic Ray

In esoteric teachings, each planet is associated with a particular Ray or type of consciousness. The Celtic or Green Ray is the Ray of Beauty and of the artist. It is symbolised by the planet Venus. "The Greeks with their art and the Celts with their music and dance were the true initiates of the Green Ray, and the influence of the astral contacts can be clearly seen to this day in the temperament of the Celtic races" (Dion Fortune, Applied Magic).
