| Darth Vader's saber from ROTJ differs from the rest because it was not based on a MPP flash gun. His saber was made from the original Graflex saber used by Mark Hamill in TESB. The prongs on the Graflex that hold the "ears" were flattened and a D-ring was attached. |

| The shroud was manufactured and the tip painted black, to make it look like an MPP or Heiland type flash gun. Instead of having a flash release, a ball-bearing door latch was used. |

| The glass-eye from the Graflex, was replaced with a chrome allen-head screw. The clamp was likely created from some metal tubing and an English-made momentary switch painted black. The main tube is full of allen bolts, which supposedly held in the stunt blade. |
