Year 2001 in a Nut Shell During Kindergarten, Mom and Dad had signed me up for the School Age Child Care (SACC) program on base. SACC is a before and after school care program. They take me to and from school and even watch me when I have the day off. We did a lot of fun things and made a lot of cool projects. While in Kindergarten, I was playing on the playground and slipped off and broke my arm. I ended up having surgery so the doctors could put pins in my arm to keep the bones growing straight. Because of this I was not able to join the T-ball league. Maybe next year. I had surgery again, when Mom was gone, to have the pins taken back out. I was finally out of casts in May. I graduated Kindergarten, at Sea Park elementary, in May. Mom and Dad still let me stay with the SACC program during the summer too. We were busy. Every week was jam packed with fun. We went swimming at the base pool, saw all the new, cool, kids movies, read at the library and even went to Magic Kingdom! During this busy time I even managed to lose my first tooth. I started the First grade Aug 8th, again at Sea Park. My teacher is Mrs. Barbour. I have been doing a great job on all of my spelling tests. All of them have been 100%! I am learning to read, and Mrs Barbour has been teaching us addition and subtraction. I joined the Patrick Air Force Base under 6 soccer league. (I missed the over 6 league by a few weeks) It was a great time. My coach was Coach Todd. The season was fun! I scored quite a few goals and had a blast at my end of soccer party.
