3 oz. black small amount of yellow, burgundy, orange, red, and white.
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
G hook and E hook (for shudder trim or hook needed to obtain gauges.
Gauge: 4 sc = 1"; 4 sc rows=1"
BASIC STITCHES:
Ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc
HOUSE
Side A (make 2)
Row 1: Starting at bottom, with gray, ch 21, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn. (20 sc made)
Rows 2 -22: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. Front of row 2 is right side of work.
Row 23: For gable, ch 1, sc first 2 sts tog, sc in each st across to last 2 sts, sc last 2 sts tog, turn (18)
Rows 24-26: Ch 1, sc first 2 sts tog, sc next 2 sts tog, sc in each st across to last 4 sts, (sc next 2 sts tog) 2 times, turn. (14, 10, 6)
Row 27: Ch 1, sc first 2 sts tog, (sc next 2 sts tog) 2 times, turn. (3)
Row 28: Ch 1, sc 3 sts tog. Fasten off.
Side B (make 2)
Row 1: Starting at bottom, with gray, ch 19, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn. (18 sc made).
Rows 2 - 22: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. At end of last row, fasten off. Front of row 2 is right side of work.
Ceiling
Row 1: With black, ch 21, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn. (20 sc made)
Rows 2 - 5: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Row 6: For first side, ch 1, sc in first 6 sts leaving last 14 sts unworked, turn. (6)
Row 7-12: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. At end of last row, fasten off.
Row 6: For chimney opening, skip next 8 unworked sts on row 5; for second side, join black with sc in next unworked st, sc in each across, turn (6).
Rows 7 -12: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Row 13: Ch 1, sc in first 6 sts, ch 8, sc in next 6 sts on first side, turn. (12 sc, 8 chs)
Row 14: Ch 1, sc in each st and in each ch across, turn. (20)
Rows 15 -18: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. At end of last row, fasten off.
