• Yarn: black, yellow, orange, green, off-white, pink, gray, white, teal, red, blue, brown and tan
• Hook: G, F, E, and D or size needed to achieve gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Foam (felt is optional)- black, red, pink, and white
• Glue gun
To change colors at the end of the row: Insert hook in the last stitch of the row, pull up a loop of the old color, yo with the new color and pull through both loops on hook. Tie the tail of the new color to the old color. Cut old color.
(Sides are made in one piece) Hook G
Row 1: With black, Ch 21, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in ea ch across, Ch1, turn (20 sc).
Rows 2-18: Sc in each sc across, Ch 1, turn (20 sc).
Row 19: Sc in the back loop only of each sc across, changing color to yellow at the end of this row, Ch 1, turn.
Rows 20-37: Repeat rows 2-18, Ch 1, turn.
Row 38: Repeat row 19, change color to green at the end of this row, Ch 1, turn.
Rows 39-56: Repeat rows 2-18, Ch 1, turn.
Row 57: Repeat row 19, change color to orange at the end of this row, Ch 1, turn.
Rows 58-75: Repeat rows 2-18, Ch 1, turn.
Row 76: Repeat row 19 (Do not Ch 1, turn at the end of 76). Fasten off. Sew the last row and the 1st row together to form a box.

Rnd 2: 2 dc in ea dc around (26 dc), sl st to the beg. of ch 3.
Rnd 3: Change color to red, *2 dc in a dc, dc in next dc**; repeat * - ** around (38 dc), sl st in the beg. of ch 3.
Rnd 4: Change to pink, sc in dc around, sl st to the 1st dc.
Rnd 5: Change to red, Ch 3, * dc in next st, 2 dc in next st**, repeat * - ** around (61 dc). Fasten off.
Ears
With gray, Ch 9, sl st to the next ch, sc in ea ch, do not turn, continue to the other side, sc in the next 8 sc, Ch 2, sl st in the same sc, fasten off.
With pink, Ch 6, sl st the next ch, sc in ea ch, Ch 1, turn, sc in ea st across. Fasten off. Sew the pink ears on to the gray ears.
Face - Hook G
Row 1: With gray, Ch 4, turn, sc in ea ch, Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc the next 3 sc, 2 sc in the last sc, Ch 1, turn (5 sc).
Row 3: Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc the last sc, Ch 1, turn (6 sc).
Row 4: Sc in ea sc across, Ch 1, turn.
Row 5: Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc the last sc. (7 sc) Fasten off.
Arm - Hook G
Row 1: With gray, Ch 18, change to white, Ch 4, change to gray, Ch 18 more, Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Repeat as row 1, end of row 2, fasten off.
Body - Hook G
Row 1: With gray, join on the 17th sc from the right (up from the arm), sc the next sc, change color to white, sc the next 4 sc, change color to gray, sc the last 2 sc, Ch 1, turn.
Rows 2 - 3: Repeat as row 1, end of row 3, fasten off.
Carrot - Hook E
With orange, Ch 6, sl st to next st, 2 sc the next st, dc the next st; hdc the last st, fasten off. Sew to the hand.
Hand - Hook G
With white, Ch 4, sl st the next st, sc the next 2 st, sl st the last st, Ch 4, sl st the next st, sc the next 2 sc; sl st to the base, Ch 5, sl st the next st, sc the next 3 sc, sl st to the base, Ch 4, sl st the next sc, sc the next 2 sc, sl st to the base, fasten off. Sew the hand onto the arm.
