Micah
is a bi-blue, color-headed white Sheltie born in November 1997. We have raised him from a 10 week old puppy. He likes to
play frisbee, compete in agility and herd sheep (but only sheep that are
afraid of dogs!)
Lily
is a double merle Sheltie born in April, 2002. Lily is deaf
and is sight impaired, but she doesn't let that stop her from playing frisbee,
attacking our ankles, and snuggling in laps for naps. Lily was adopted
from Second Chance Sheltie Rescue of St.
Louis.
Sarah
is a liver colored Sheltie born in March of 1994. She was rescued from
a commercial breeder after spending the first four years of her life in a
small cage outside, with limited human contact. Sarah enjoys sleeping on
comfortable beds, kind words, and bossing Torrie around. Sarah was also
adopted from Second Chance Sheltie Rescue of
St. Louis.
Torrie is a
blue Doberman rescued from a local animal welfare
group when she was 18 months old. We believe she was born in June of 1995. Torrie has a host of medical issues,
including alopacia, incontinence, Wobbler's and most recently, mass cell skin
cancer. With management and medication, and occasional surgeries to
remove any cancer lesions that appear, she has been doing well. Torrie
enjoys hunting and eating mice, voles and moles, playing catch with leather
gloves, and wrestling with Lily. Her favorite activity is to stretch out
on the recliner with Carl and sleep.
