Well, it's a BOY! I decided not to find out the sex, but when Dr Allen turned on the ultrasound machine "it" was right there! I guess it was good to find out though because now I have time to buy lots of blue stuff. Chris is very excited as you may have guessed. Alyssa is happy too because she said she wanted to have a little brother. I weigh 133 pounds now. That is 5 pounds lighter than I was at this time when I was pregnant with Kayla. Hopefully I can stay on track. Thanksgiving is going to get me though!!! Yum, pumpkin pie!!  Everything with "baby boy" is going well. This little sucker kicks really hard! I can hear his heartbeat with my fetal monitor too. I had to take an unexpected blood test last week after finding out that I may have been exposed to Fifths Disease. All is A-OK though. My next Dr appointment is November 6th.

That's all for now! Here are my latest belly pictures:

I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon and all is well. I heard the heartbeat again going strong. I weigh 138 now (I had on big boots LOL) and I'm measuring right where I should be. My next appointment in December will be my glucose screening. Yuck. This little fella has been kicking up a storm! He kicks real hard - guess he's going to be a soccer player LOL. That's all for now. Here's my latest belly pic taken at 24 weeks.

I went to the Dr on Dec 5th and had my glucose screening test. I passed as usual - no diabetes here. I have gained yet another 5 pounds. I blame that on all the pie at Thanksgiving. The baby's heartbeat sounds great. Dr Allen said my uterus is measuring a little big. What the heck is that supposed to mean?!?! I will start going to my appointments every 2 weeks now and I'll be having those Non Stress Tests again. I'll also get another peek at the little one.

Everything has been busy around here lately. I have been studying for finals and finishing up some biology projects. We are going to get our Christmas tree today so I can fight with Kayla for the next couple of weeks. I just know she'll pull the tree over! Alyssa had a Christmas program at preschool/church this Sunday. It was cute : ) Okay, Kayla is pulling my hair out as we speak ... so that's all for now! As always - here's my latest belly picture:

I went to the Dr this week for a non-stress test (NST) and baby looks great. His heartbeat stays around 140 when he's resting and shoots up to 170 when he's kicking around. He kicks around a lot! Sometimes it feels like he's going to crack my ribs!! Guess that means he's healthy though  : )  I'm a *healthy* 146 lbs now. That's still a couple pounds below what I weighed this time with Kayla.

I finally went through my old baby clothes and pulled out all of the neutral colored outfits. We bought him a couple outfits for Christmas too. I'm still not prepared though. It's time to start stocking up on diapers and wipes. I'm almost ready to pull out the bassinet and all that good stuff too. I even considered starting to pack my hospital bag. We're still thinking of baby names too. I go back to the Dr weekly now with NSTs. Here's my new belly picture:

The end is in sight! I am scheduled to be induced on Friday February 8th if I don't go into labor earlier. On Wed Jan 30th I was already 2 cm dilated and the baby's head is very low. I've got things planned for the induction. Mom will be here Thursday night so she'll be here to see me off to the hospital - and to watch the girls. We bought a pack of newborn diapers, we've set up the bassinet with fresh linen, and we've got all our baby clothes washed and hung up. I'm getting excited now. Five more days and I'll have a son. I think I know his name too - but I haven't told anyone - not even Chris  : )  I go to the Dr on Tuesday to make sure everything is in order for Friday. Here's the latest belly pic:
