O MY NATION, UNITE, FOR THE SAKE OF THE HOLY LAND

I

The universe of hues forms voices aromas and songs will cease to be

The alternation of the days and nights time and  years will cease to be

All that exists will  be in annihilation ceasing to be

You and I and they all will cease to be

All that in the realm of existence will be annihilated ceasing  to be

Beginning with the arc of existence, returning with the arc of non-being ceasing to be

In the panorama of existence and then of ceasing to be

There  is something eternal most amazing giving meaning to then and now

The work of bringing into existence the men of  faith God-conscious powerful

Bringing into realization  the unicity idea and God consciousness living in time and space

Establishing the bench-mark for the excellent nation in human civilization among nations of mankind

III

Nations originally weak rising up struggling with truth and justice becoming inheritors of power

Successfully establishing the culture of knowledge and learning-with the aid of the Divine Word -values of power

Starting points from Mecca, Medina, Damascus, Baghdad, Cordova

To Delhi, Istanbul, Bukhara, Samarqand, Acheh and Malacca

Bringing forth men of learning, devotees, thinkers, administrators, and knights loyal

From the training school of “There is no God but He, the Living Reality”

But the cycle of time and the centuries come and return

Then the believers in unicity and God-consciousness flagged in strength

Lost their strength of self-esteem becoming broken into fragments without strength

Succumbing to internal weaknesses moral laxity without any values and strength of endeavour

Dominated by the culture of in-fighting destroying culture and civilization

In the name of struggle deemed worthy of consideration

Then came the colonialists the sea pirates and robbers

In the name of spreading in history enlightened civilization and culture

Destroyed they Cordova, Seville, Malacca, Delhi and Istanbul

So that no dominant nation with them will appear to compete

 This  age with the old story  again in the Land of Palestine is replete

There occurs the desacrilazation of religion and human honour  among believers

The land of Palestine! You are our first “qiblat”, the earth still retaining the warmth of the treading feet of the prophets!

Your land mentioned in the Chapter of the Night Journey as blessed with blessings Divine

The land mentioned by the learned one in Delhi as the window to the exalted realm of the invisible   

Becoming the victim of the robbers in the post modern age whose rhetoric and philosophy are deemed as exalted

Their doings show that humanity in them has been annihilated

What has been proven is that there is only greed for power  and wealth and power-mongering on the earth.

VII

 There is no compassion, there is no justice, there are no more rights here

There, there is only power overcoming all things,  there is no more humanity

There is only the explosion of bombs, destruction of wealth, life, and the untold voices of human suffering

There are only the tanks destroying everything,  there are the cries of untold human suffering and anguish

If it were not for the light of faith, the heart of unbelief would surely say:

“There no god , there is only ‘Azazil in human form creating a universe of suffering”.

VIII

O Lord! Whose mistake is this O my Lord?

O Lord! The one in the wrong is us- the recipients of the Message of Muhammad!

In revelation it is taught: ”You get prepared with all kinds of strength with all your might!”

“So that the enemies of God and your enemies will   have fear losing strength!”

But these recipients of the civilization of the Prophet choose to lead a life of fleshy ease!

Letting everything take its course as long as they can lead a life of fleshy ease!

In revelation it is taught: “You beware of them!

They are waiting for you to be forgetful and then they will pounce upon you  with one onrush and annihilating you!”

But the recipients of this civilization love to lead a life of luxury  and enjoying extravagance

Without caring for the doctrine of  struggling with vigilance as taught by the Second Caliph.

Revelation has taught:” You get solidly united as believers in troops as well-constructed building”

But the recipients of this Community like to go to war among themselves and not struggling as united entity in their struggle!

Revelation has taught that “those with the Prophet are compassionate among themselves”

But the recipients of this Community like to live always in suspicion among themselves

So much so that  there are people who teach that going against those in the helm of affairs among them is a work of honour

Because their acts of obedience is of inferior quality compared to ours, we are better than them.

Come, let us avoid this thinking in religion which will bring despair in the ummah

Le us return to the unity and co-operation  which will guarantee for us a place of honour among men.

XI

O Lord! Bestow on this community a heart which learns lessons from history

I know that You have sent the sage from Tunis inviting the Community to the lessons from history

But our hearts O Lord are stubborn influenced only by the apparent in things

Not liking to read and getting lessons from indications in history

O Lord! Grant, o grant once again among us unity genuine

Which You have bestowed upon the early generations  of this Community.

XII

Let there not be among us those whose tongues are sweet but their hearts contain lethal poison

Fluent of speech, gentle, yet with hearts containing secrets bringing the community to destruction

Come, brothers,  we get united for the sake of building up powerful Front

Going beyond the reaches of selfishness, and partisanship of temporary convenience for fostering national strength

Come! The land of Palestine -with the Leave of God- we will struggle for the sake of its honour

And the suffering of its people and their humiliation let us solve together in our struggle.  

XIII

We establish our unity and co-operation going beyond  culture and race

In life of togetherness struggling for universal values as brethren among mankind

We stand for the rights and honour of Palestine and its people as veritable rights

As independent people with recognized position in human history

Together we establish international community life based on universal civil society

In accordance with the principle of co-operation among civilizations of mankind.

XIV

 Malaysia should manifest exemplary unity and life of togetherness as showed by the Prophet

In Madina city the welfare of all was upheld without the exclusion

Of any by reason of race culture or tongue

In multicultural society we promulgate Asian universal cultural values

In facing the identity crisis by reason of the wave of globalisation a new form of colonalisation

So as to build up a civil society in our own way in the new life-situation in the new millennium.
