Cave Creek AZ
Up

This recreation area is overseen by the Maricopa County Parks & Recreation Department and is located in Cavecreek, Arizona

Basic Conditions:

11 miles of well marked trails loop around through the desert. Footing is sandy and rocky with flat and hills.

There is a horse staging area with a large gravel lot to accomodate trailers and hitching rails for your horse.

I rented a horse for this adventure from the concessionnaire at the park - Cave Creek Trail Rides. They provide guided trail rides from October through May. They are located just inside the park at number "10" on the map.
