A versatile park with varying terrain, a
little something for everyone
 | Basic Conditions:
 | Accessible trailer parking on a large open
field. No backing required here, and enough room for your entire club to come along.
 | Many miles of trails pass through wooded
areas with hills and valleys, along open fields with flat to rolling terrain and
along gravel roads through the park. Intersections of trails are well marked.
 | Wildlife is abundant here, we spotted a
small flock of turkey chicks last spring -- they were crossing the trail right under us!
 | There is access to water at several points
along the trail.
| Mike and Michelle
return to the parking area, plenty of room here |
Mike even tried
ponying our dog on these nice wide trails |
 | Potential Hazards:
 | Hikers unfamiliar with horses and the
unleashed dog or two.
 | Road crossings at several points along the
trails
An accurate trail map
and well marked intersections help make this a fun, relaxing ride |
 | Rules & Restrictions:
 | Park closes at dusk
 | Remain on equestrian trails and respect
private property postings
| Our Malamute, Sasha,
also enjoys cooling off in one of the shallow streams. |
