Chapter 102

As soon as Kevin finished, everyone began clapping. And the next thing I knew, I was in Kevin's arms, holding onto him.

"That was beautiful," I said as tears continued to fall from my eyes. "Thank you."

"My heart will always belong to you," Kevin said as he rested his forehead against mine.

"As will mine," I said.

Then he wiped away my tears.

"Dance with me, my wife," Kevin said as he extended his hand.

"With pleasure, my husband," I said as I took his hand.

He pulled me into his arms as we began to dance, along with everyone else.

Throughout the night, I had danced with Howie, A.J., and Nick, but not Brian. Every time I went to go find him, he always seemed to disappear. So I decided to go talk to Ashley, figuring that he'd eventually make his way back to Ashley.

However, as I began to walk away, someone put their hands over my eyes.

"Hi Rick," I said.

Their hands dropped and I turned around to see Rick.

"You take all the fun out of me trying to surprise you," Rick said smiling, as he pulled me into his arms and another song began.

"Sorry," I said as I kissed his cheek.

"It's okay. Besides, I just got a kiss out of it," he said.

I smiled. "Thank you so much for coming."

"Did you really think I would miss this?" he questioned.

"I don't know. I hoped you'd be here, but I wasn't sure," I said honestly.

"Of course I'd be here. This is one of the most important moments in one of my best friend's life, I had to be here," Rick said. "Besides, if I didn't show up, I'd be hearing form Char, Stacey, and Lauren. I'd rather not take my chances with them."

"You're a smart man," I said.

"Oh, thank you. I try," Rick said.

"So…how are you and Char?" I asked, looking for any information.

Rick smiled. "Just fine. We're very happy together."

"And…" I said.

"And that's it. For now, we're just fine being together. We're not even mentioning the M word, if that's what you were wondering," Rick said.

"I was just curious," I said, smiling.

Rick laughed. "Curious…or just plain nosy."

"Same difference," I said, while continuing to dance as another song began.

Then Brian came up and tapped Rick on the shoulder. "Mind if I cut in?"

"Go ahead, I got my one dance with the bride," Rick said.

Then he kissed me on the cheek. "Congratulations."

After that, he went and found Char to dance with.

"Where have you been all night, Mr. Littrell?" I asked.

Brian smiled. "Searching for you. I just wanted to get one dance with my cousin's beautiful bride, but she seemed to be in someone else's arms every time I looked."

"Well what can I say? The guys just love me tonight," I said, smiling at him.

Brian laughed. "Well lucky for me, I was able to dance with you for a song."

"Yeah, but don't tell Kevin about all the guys," I said.

"Oh okay," Brian agreed, smiling.

Then we continued dancing, until the music stopped.

I looked at Brian puzzled, and he took my hand, leading me over to Kevin.

I held Kevin's hand as we all looked at the stage, waiting for something to happen.

"A little present," Brian said quickly, before he rushed up on stage with Howie, AJ, and Nick.

"We just want to dedicate this song to the newly weds," AJ said.

"And to two of our best friends, may your lives always be filled with happiness…from this moment on," Brian said.

Then they began the song, From This Moment On, by Shania Twain.

From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you is where I belong
From this moment on

From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I'd give my last breath
From this moment on

Kevin and I smiled at ach other as we began to dance, while the Boys continued singing.

Kevin rested his forehead on mine staring into my eyes, while I kept my arms round his neck.

A few hours later, Kevin and I decided it was time for us to leave. We were ready to be alone and everyone was getting tired.

So we told all our loved ones goodbye and then walked out to where a limousine waiting for us. Soon we were on our way to our secluded cabin that was in the middle of the woods.

Kevin took my hand helped me out of the limousine.

We walked up to the door and Kevin opened it, revealing a spacious room lit by candlelight and a fireplace.

I smiled at Kevin as he shut the door.

"Remind you of anything?" he asked curiously.

"How could I forget," I said, grinning at Kevin. "Christmas Eve."

"Yep," he said as he rested his hands on my hips.

I turned and took his hand, leading him towards the bed.

Then I began to remove his jacket as he kissed me. Soon his hands were running through my hair as we kissed. Neither of us could stop kissing each other, as we slowly got rid of each other's clothes.

Once our clothes had disappeared, we slowly and passionately began to make love, cherishing every gentle touch and kiss that we shared.

Next Morning

I woke up to find myself wrapped in my husband's arm. He then kissed the top of my head.

"Good morning, Mrs. Richardson," he said.

"Morning, Mr. Richardson," I said as I kissed him.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked.

"Of course," I said.

"Okay, good," he said.

"So do we have anything planned for today?" I asked.

"Yeah, but not till later," Kevin said.

"So we can spend the morning just like this?" I questioned.

"Yeah," Kevin said as he sighed contentedly.

And that's just hat we did. We spent the morning in bed, cuddling with each other and just talking about whatever came to mind, enjoying our quiet time together.

At about 2 o'clock, we decided to get up. I took my shower first and got myself dressed. Then it was Kevin's turn.

"Do you want pack us a lunch while I'm in the shower?" Kevin asked.

"Sure," I said.

He kissed me and then went to take his shower. As he was doing that, I found a little picnic basket for us and began packing our food in there.

Just as I had finished, he came back out.

"You ready to go?" he asked.

"Yep, our lunch is all packed," I said.

"All right then, let's go," Kevin said as he took my hand, grabbed a blanket, and then walked out.

We quietly walked along the trail, holding hands and enjoying the peacefulness and the beauty of the woods.

We came to a clearing and there Kevin laid down the blanket. Then the two of us sat down. I took out the food and we began to eat.

After we had eaten, the two of us lay there in each other's arms staring up at the clouds that slowly passed above us.

"Guess what we're doing tomorrow," Kevin said.

"I don't know. What?" I asked.

"Well they have a couple of stalls here…" Kevin began.

"We're going horse back riding?" I questioned excitedly.

"Yep, there's a beautiful little trail that they have set up," Kevin said.

"Wow, that's wonderful," I said. "I haven't been horse back riding in years."

"I know, so I was hoping that you would like the idea," Kevin said.

"I do, I love it," I said.

"And I love you," Kevin said.
