Chapter Six - First Contact
***************************************
You'll always be a part of me
I'm part of you indefinately
Ooh boy you know you can't escape me
Ooh darlin' cause you'll always be my baby (Mariah Carey -
Always Be My
Baby)

*Becca,
Hey, sup? Not much
here. It must be weird seeing my handwriting after
I'm gone. It feels weird knowing that
when you read this I'll be watching
over you. 'Nuff of the morbid stuff!
Anyway, I wanted you to have some of
my stuff. You can have my class ring;
I want you to wear it. I also want
you to have my B-Rok necklace and my Phat
Farm sweatshirt. I have a
confession: I stole it from Kevin!
Anyway, any pictures in my room of us
you can have too. Also my Kentucky Wildcats
hat. When you get back tonight
you can go through my room if you feel like
it, and you can have whatever
you want. Most of my clothes will probably
go to A. J., if he wants them.
We're about the same size, and you know him,
he loves clothes! The stuff I
said you could have is definitely for you;
the rest of my stuff goes on a
first-come, first-serve basis! =0)!!
Give Frack my silver cross necklace,
the one with the diamonds. He always
liked it. I think that's it. I still
have a surprise for you, so watch out!
I miss you already, and I'm not even
gone yet. I'm gonna finish this up,
go downstairs, and tell you how much I
love you. More than words, Becca.
You are truly my angel.
Love always and forever,
B-Rok*
I folded up the letter and put it back in the envelope as hot tears
coursed
down my cheeks. I sat down in the first pew. Soon after,
the rest of the
guys, the girls, and the family filed in and the service began.
