No 7 is shown here in Cathedral Square at the head of a line of trailers probably bound for Sumner. There is no visible evidence in this photo of the electric trams which would make their appearance in 1905 and which would see the removal of this length of track from in front of the Cathedral.
She would be expected to pull 4 or 5 of the trailers with the rest assigned to a second steam tram.
