In the first year of marching band I didnt go to band camp because there was no teacher at that time,or something happened.... I dont know. So that caused us the first game against Notre Dame. The first game we went to wasnt that great. We didnt look good, but I still had fun with my friends..... I usually go only because I want to be with my friends but at the same time I want to support my school=].

There was one game that we looked soo bad that our band director decided to stop going to the games until we were ready. So we didn't go to like 3 or 4 games =\. But we looked great when we came back to the games.

The Birmingham High School Marching band only went to two competitions and 1 parade this year. We had a competition at SOCES, we got a 4/5. So that wasnt that bad. Another competition we went to was at a high school in Anaheim. We didn't that good on this one... we got second place out of two high schools =[. But we got to go to Disneyland afterwards. It was really fun. Then we also went to the Memorial Day Parade in Canoga Park. We marched for 2. something miles....this was also our first time marching in a parade. On that day there was five schools that performed along with us, we won third place.

I love marching band, I think I am going to stay in it throughout my high school years. Its hard work but it is also fun. Most of my friends are in there and we have a good time together...=)
