July 30th - Rosters fully updated

March 24th
- Added all FA to team and adjusted ML roster to account for the massive injuries that have hit my roster. Unfortunately I still have to do a lot of cuts (adding 20+ FA will do that which I will try to get done this weekend.

September 14th -
If the 1st pick was an overdraft the 2nd pick was right on the money. Bobby Jenks will be joining the team along with Ian Kinsler who was the 3rd ML pick. For the 2nd round in the minor league dispersal draft Will Inman will join the team giving the Angels two legitimate SP prospects in their system.

September 9th, 2007 -
Bit of an overdraft and I know it, but today I selected Jarrod Saltalamacchia in the ML dispersal draft. Unfortunately the three players I had expected to be available had already been selected and I was forced to go with who I wanted in the 2nd round. Oh well. At least I know I have him rather then have to chance it.

September 3rd, 2007 -
A few days ago the Angels traded their #2 pick for 2 later picks, a minor league dispersal pick, and Ivan Dejesus. Hopefully the one player I'm looking for at #17 is still there then.

Today in the minor league draft with the #7 pick the Angels selected Joey Votto. Votto is planned to share the 1B duties next year with Casey Kotchman. Good pick? Bad pick? I guess we'll find out in the upcoming years.

August 29th, 2007 -
Yawn... I've updated most of the minors on the website. It's not perfect yet but should be essentially done by tomorrow.

7 - Today the Angels just made their first trade in history by shipping the SS prospect Sean Rodriguez out of town and receiving former Yankee slugger Bobby Abreu in return. While Abreu's salary is enormously high his talent is enough to hopefully compensate for it.

This sets the OF up so the Angels are not forced to pursue much help there if they so desire since they already have an OF of Vladimir Guerrero, Abreu, Matthews, with competant reserves in Willits and Rivera.

The biggest boon about the trade is in regards to the ML draft. Now rather then focus solely on offense the first few picks the team has a little more offensive ability and can go for the best player available... even when that's a pitcher.

August 16th, 2007 - I'm such an overachiever that as soon as I picked the Angels I decided to start this website... Ok I'm bored that explains it.
