D History
@
D is a Japanese Indies Visual Rock Band.
This band is composed by familiar faces, some more familiar then others but nevertheless combining to create a new face in the Visual scene.
D was formed in March of 2003, with the line up:
Asagi on vocals( ex- syndrome), Ruiza on guitar (ex-syndrome), Sin on guitar( ex-syndrome), Hiroki on drums (ex-Aroria/S to M/ Michiru Project), and Rena on bass (ex-Persona) Having recorded New Blood (Released July 18th 2003, limited to 3000) with this line-up, Sin left the band in pursuit of other projects. Around this time Ruiza strangely became ill and was forced to receive medical assistance. Naturally, this suspended D's activities, but, not wanting to disband, Asagi, Rena, and Hiroki continued to play live with support guitar played by Hide-zou (ex-S to M) and Tetsu, under the name "Children of the Night."
As seen above, (L->R): Hide-zou, Rena, Asagi, Tetsu and Hiroki.

Upon Ruiza's discovery in September, Hide-zou replaced Sin permanently, with Tetsu going to form Gimmick with ex-Vidoll guitarist Ayano.
D's second 'release' was entitled 'Alice' a special one-track single given to all who attended the band's first OneMan show "Believe or Not Believe" at the Meguro Rock Maykan on the 27th of November.
Starting the new year off, D releases their second maxi CD 'Paradox.' (released on January 7th, limited to 5000). Paradox features what could be considered one of their most popular songs 'Nightship D'; complete with small hand held flags, this song is a crowd pleaser. To commemorate its release, the band played their second OneMan on January 24th. 2004 at the Takadanobaba Area.
Shortly after their Paradox release D had a track entitled 'Nageki no Tenshi' recorded. This song appeared on a 'visual artist' compilation CD 'Cannonball Vol.1' on February 25th, 2004.
In between traveling across Japan the band manages to record three more lovely tracks of their latest CD single entitled 'Yume Narishi Kuuchuu Teien' (released May 12th 2004, limited 5000). D played their third OneMan show at the Shibuya O-West. (Video: 'Yume Narishi Kuuchuu Teien' was given out)
Just recently the band has announced their new tour dates for their upcoming gigs. D is a band that you can say is going somewhere. Despite a rocky beginning the band has managed to pass their first year as a band quite successfully and are still going strong.
