ATTENTION: I Want It...NOW

Not to say that some guys aren't emotional, clingy, neurotic little bastards. Plenty of them are. I'm included in that group. But you know what? Whenever a guy freaks out, as far as I'm aware, he decides that he "wants his distance" or "wants time apart". I would take distance and time apart over being stuck together 24/7 any day.

"What exactly, Mr. Transformer sir, are you insinuating?" you may be asking. Well, I'm not insinuating anything. I'm flat out saying that on the whole, women are a more leechy, more clingy, more emotionally-prone group of people. I understand it may just be your nature, it may just be what society programs you to do. But ya know what? I think everyone should reject their f*cking programming. I hate to sound mean, I really do. I don't like sounding like a prick. Well, maybe I do just a little bit. But that's what I am. A prick. The worst thing in the world to do when you're worried about scaring someone away is spending all of your time with them.

If anyone actually has to ask what exactly brought this on, it's experience. If you wake up to a phone call from someone to come see them. You go on your lunch break and they're there waiting for you, you come home from work and see their car in the parking lot to your apartment. You get random letters in your mailbox scented of perfume and containing condoms saying "Daniel, dahling, I want to meet you ton....." I've said too much haven't I?

Look, my point is that if you are worried about scaring someone away, maybe the best way not to scare them off is to sit their poor ass down and tell them flat out "Look, I'm having some security problems, I might get a little weird on you, don't flip out. I'd just like as much help through this as you can spare me." I guarantee you that'd probably work pretty damn well. I PROMISE that it works better than "I'm freaking out so I'm going to come to your doorstep and wait for you to come out in the morning. I'm going to leave you little messages at work, on your cell phone, your brother's cell phone, make you brownies, and wait for you naked in your bed smeared in......" I've said too much again, haven't I?
