The Man Behind The Fox
Hello, my name is Bill Taylor. I was born in Rockford, Illinois, on June 17, 1982, and have been watching transformers since I was five. I am one of those few that was there to see the original transformers on the air as well as the movie in 1980's, though I was equally overjoyed to see BeastWars and BeastMachines in more recent times. Ok, here's a fairly quick overview of my life: I went to Machesney Park Elementary school where I participated in a fine arts program (painting, drama, ect.) for little kids, making a few friends there along the way (sadly, most from that school have drifted away from me, and I haven't heard much from my old buddies). After that, I went through Harlem Junior High and Harlem High, taking some computer and art classes (in addition to the usual, mind-numbing curriculum). I graduated from there in the class of 2000 and have moved onto Rock Valley College since. In all honesty, I'm not sure what to due with my life, but I do like to draw and write, and as anyone at ILS can tell you, I've sure done a lot of the later with my transformer fics. In addition to transformers, I like werewolves, real wolves (and other canines, like dogs and foxes), nature, strategy and role-playing games (Werewolf: The Apocalypse from White Wolf is one of my favorite), and simply reading (one of the best ways I get inspiration for stories). I currently live with my family, which consists of myself, my parents (still married), my great aunt Carrie, and my sister Christi, whom has just returned from the army. In addition, we have two beagle dogs, Misty and Harley, both of which are adorable. Originally, I wrote my transformer stories as a continuation of BeastMachines, but I also strived to fill the void it left behind by restoring the transformer lore BeastMachines lacked (which is why it obviously bombed in comparison to BeastWars and the G1 series). As for RedStreak, I initially made him out to be a younger, naive version of Silverbolt, but I noticed the lack of human-transformer interaction and took it a step further by making him half human, helping to solve the puzzle of what happened to humanity after the "Great War" between the Autobots and Decepticons. He is more than a hybrid, but a link between the transformers and humanity, and I've striven to make this a dominant theme for him.
