How do I use the backgrounds on my site?
Uh, well I'd hope that everyone with a site would know how to do this, but, nevertheless, here goes:
to have a background you must first upload the background into your files of your website (do not direct link), then specify which one you want in the body tag, which comes after the head, and before eveything in the body of the page. here is an example:
‹body background="heero.jpg"›
That was to insert a background called heero, that was in .jpg format, as all graphics on my site are.
How do I set up the layouts?
First off unzip the file you upladed using winzip, copy them seperately onto your hard drive or floppy disc, then upload the four (or five, depending on weather or not a background is used) image files into the file manager of your site, and then go to edit the page you want the layout on. Once there open the other .txt file that was in the zipped file you downloaded from this site, and copy everything there. This file should include the body tag. paste it onto the edit page where the html goes, save, and there you have it!

What is winzip?
It unzips zipped files (.zip). .zip files are files that are compressed so they take up less space and time (time to download).
How can I get winzip?
By downloading it from Winzip's homepage
What if I can't use or download winzip?
Well, then you're out of luck...just kidding. e-mail me, and I'll send then to you separately. it will, however take 4 or 5 e-mails, because i have to send the files one at a time, or else AOL will zip them automaticly.End Related Topics
How do I write on the banners (and titles on the layouts)?
Right click on the banner and select "save as" or "save picture as," whichever your submenu says (save it in a place you can find to open later, I'd suggest 'my documents'). then go to 'paint' (I say paint because most eveyone has it, if you prefer a different graphics program, then whatever floats your boat), and open it. If you can't find it, be sure that you are showing all image files, because this is not a .bmp (bitmap file), which is what paint generally uses, it's a .jpg file. Once it's opened, open a text box and write where ever it pleases you (by the way, you might want to write opaque (see through) so that you don't lose colors or anything).
Can I e-mail you and get you to write on the banners and layouts for me?
Sure can. Be sure to specify what you want written, and what font, what size, what color, et cetera, et cetera.
Can I request something?
Yup, sure can ^_^ But I'm going to make it a public thng on the site unless you specify otherwise.Related Topics
Do I need to send you a picture with my request?
Hell, yes. Really I suppose you don't have to if it's a general request (i.e. Can you put up more Heero and Relena pictures?), but I'm not going to go searching all over the net for a certain pic. I have a life, too, ya know.End Related Topics
