WELCOME TO TRANZION Created by MIKE GAMES - NINTENDO 64 Gauntlet Legends Review by: M-BLACK Gauntlet Legends is an RPG for N64. You can be any of 4 characters and unlock 5 secret characters. There are 4 worlds with 5 levels each, and a final world with 3 levels and 2 final levels in which you fight Skorne. BASIC OVERVIEW In this game, you beat a level to unlock the next and find 3 obelisks to open a new world. In each world, there is a boss, and once you defeat the 4 bosses, you can fight Skorne for the last time. Once he is defeated, you open a new world with 3 levels. The last of the 3 contains the last rune stone you need. There are 13 rune stones hidden very well throughout the game and to go to the final level, you must find them all. Once all rune stones are found, you enter the gates of hell to fight Skorne and his mighty army for the final time. While on your journey, you get gold, items, and experience. You can play 1-4 players and there is no friendly fire to get in the way. MORE DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OBILISK: Obilisks are pillars hidden behind doors and in corners. When you walk up to them, they glow and become activated. When 3 in the same world are activated, you unlock a new world. CHARACTERS: Wizard: Strong in Magic Archer: Extremely fast Warior: His strength is extreme Valkarie: All around Good SECRET CHARACTERS: You unlock secret characters by finding an alternate exit in certain levels and collecting 50 of their coins. Minotar: Excells in strength Jackal: Powerful Magic Tigress: Fast Yellow Wizard: Powerful magic Falconess: All around Good BOSSES: Dragon: This is a fire breathing Dragon dont get too close or he'll pick you up and throw you. Slug: Hides in its toxic slime and pops up occassionally to attack you Three headed Dog: One head is a dog, one is a falcon, and one is a lion. He attacks you 3 times at once so watch out! Abombinable Snowman: Throws Snow bolders and ice picks. Watch out for the avalanches Skorne: Throw lighting, spits fire and acid, picks you up and throws you. He will do anything and everything you can think of. SUPER WEAPONS: Scimitar of Rasha: Automatically cuts off one of the heads of the three headed dog. Ice Axe of Untar: Freezes the dragon for about 30 seconds. Parchment of Fire: Ignites the abombinabull snowman. Javalin: Stuns the slug. Skorne's Weakness: Harms Skorne 1/2 of his health.
