LOTR: The Two Towers
Reviewed by: Mike Black

In this you follow the story line of LOTR 2 playing as any of 3 characters. You gain levels and buy items that affect your stats. After you beat certain levels and get to a certain strength with a character you unlock pictures and interviews with the cast of the movie.

BASIC OVERVIEW

You can play as Legolas, Gimli, Or Aragorn. You fight your way through Orcs, Monsters, and eventually Suaruman's tower. Along the way you gain experience. When you get a certain amount you level. You use you experience also to buy better weapons and combination moves. You have close, and range weapons for attacking and you can upgrade there strength with experience.

MORE DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS

Levels: I was dissapointed in the shortness of the game. It was not lack of levels that caused this, but it was the shortness of the levels. However, you have 4 characters to beat the game with so it is worth while.

Cheats: Once You beat the game there is a screte level. If you beat it with one person you get Isildur starts at level 10(max). Once you beat it with all three characters you can than play as Isildur in the secret level. Beat that with him and the cheats are unlocked. Some are cheap. For example, Invincibility and Infinite Amo. Others however are just funny. Such as Shrink Enemies.

Enemies: The enemy variety was good. There were about 5 different types of Orcs, Trolls, Orikhai, and Wargs.

Characters:

  • Gimli: Personal Favorite! Extra Strong, Has Maximum Shield, but slow.
  • Aragorn: All Around Good.
  • Legolas: Fast but weak, Good Range weapons.
  • Isildur: Secret Character, Identical to Aragorn, but has even more shield than Gimli.
