The Truth about Flushing your Transmission
This is our machine we use to flush out the transmission. Here is how it works. The first thing we do is put your vehicle on the hoist and remove the transmission pan. We inspect the pan and be sure there is nothing unusual in the pan. If there is something wrong we contact you and tell you before going any further. If everything looks ok we then check the bands and adjust them (if your transmission as any). We then remove the transmission filter and hook up our flushing machine. Next we pump New Transmission fluid into the transmission and start your car. By doing this your transmission pump pumps the clean fluid all the way through the entire transmission including the torque convertor, cooler lines, clutch packs. All the fluid gets drained until we see nothing but clean fluid comming out. We then put a new filter and pan gaskett and refill the fluid.
If you are not getting this kind of service you may be wasting your money. Most places claim they can flush out all the old fluid by connecting to the cooler lines but, do you get a new filter? Do you get a pan Inspection? And do you really get all the old fluid out? When they try to do this they can suck the sludge and any particles that may be in the the pan. This can and will cause your filter to get plugged.
So before you get your vehicle flushed educate your self and give us a call.
