Traute's Totem Animal Spirits

The painting is done on a board, 2'x2'. A bevelled mirror will be glued into the center 1'x1' square. The animals are painted in acrylic.

And here is a photo of the catgirl mask I modeled out of clay and made out of paper mache. First I used narrow strips of torn newspaper and finished it off with strips of paper towel which made for a lovely texture. I only applied two or three layers of newspaper before I chiselled out the clay. Then I applied more layers as needed. I wrapped them around the edge, making for a nicely finished edge. The paint is acrylic. I needed to do a cat because the totem animals do not include a cat, and I itentify with cats. This mask is a picture of me. It isn't a cat but a catgirl, and I can see both human and cat traits in it.
