| Hotel Akumal Caribe - A wonderful hotel that offers several different types of accomidations from a beachfront hotel, bungalows in a garden setting, a house in a quasi-secluded setting, beachfront villas or some quaint studios if you just want a nice quiet place to stay. The hotel has 21 rooms, all facing the pool and the main bay. All are bright and airy, with a balcony for a better view. You can either use the air conditioning to keep you cool, or go natural and let the breeze through (and use the ceiling fans for extra breeze!). The rooms have either a king size bed or two double beds, some also come with a kitchenette. Some are inter-connecting. All have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and mini refrigerators. Karisma Akumal Beach - This gorgeous, entirely ocean-view, 241-room beachfront resort is Akumal's answer to a relaxing and secluded Mexican hideaway. All rooms have 1 king or 2 double beds, private balcony, air conditioning, shower, hairdryer, TV, iron/ironing board, modem hook up, telephone, safety deposit box for a fee and ceiling fan. The resort also has 3 restaurants and 3 bars with excellent service. Riviera Maya Beach Club - This is the sister resort to Akumal Beach. Both share the same pool. The resort offers 73 ocean and garden view rooms in 4 one to two story buildings, surrounded by lush and exuberant gardens. All rooms have one king size or two double beds, individual controlled air-conditioning, and ceiling fans, direct dial telephones, bathrooms with a shower and hair dryer. Hotel Que Onda - This hotel only has 6 rooms and a restaurant. Each room is different and unique from the others. All the rooms face the garden blooming with plants and palm trees and a very captivating pool. The small and cozy restaurant serves Italian specialities such as homemade fresh pasta and home cooked meals. Luna Azul - Located on Half Moon Bay, Luna Azul offers both condos, hotel rooms and Studio/Casitas. The condos offer one or 2 bedroom units. The 2 bedroom unit has a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 double beds in the second bedroom and each bedroom has their own private bathroom. The one bedroom condos have 1 king size bed with private bathroom. The hotel rooms have 2 double beds with private bath and a balcony with views of the jungle. The studio units have 2 double beds with private bath and a kitchenette. All of them also offer daily maid service plus cook and nannie services are available. Las Casitas - Las Casitas offers 2 bedroom "casitas" (little houses). Located on Akumal Bay this is a wonderful place to enjoy a vacation. They have 18 casitas that will sleep up to 5 people and 4 larger units that will sleep 6. All are fully air conditioned with living room and dining area plu a full kitchen. Rooms have king size beds in the master bedrooms and 2 double beds in the second bedroom. |
