OUTSTANDING roll tonight.  We had six in for training (including me).  We started with the usual warm-up of stretches, falls and rolls.  Then we went straight into drills.  We worked on the upa/single leg pass/top control drill and then a upa/single leg pass attempt/scissor sweep drill.  I went over the straight arm bar from the mounted position breaking it down into three section and we worked each individually before putting it all together for our first "finishing move" :-)  We ended the night with a the scramble drill and everyone did great!  Way to work for a good position.


Remember our motto on the mat..."Position before submission!"
