Scratchbuilt Plastic Models

ScorpBiot

Scratchbuilt war robot created from leftover model cars and other parts. Look for items like seats for feet, fenders and engine parts on the arms, and rims glued to jerry cans for a tail. The head is actually a bolt cover off my old toilet attatched to a tank body.

FetchBot

Scratchbuilt model robot with animated "idle" motion when propeller on back is wound up and let loose. Designed with the idea in mind of protecting slow-moving heards of animals on some alien planet, it is built with long-range weapons and plenty of armor compensating for what it lacks in agility. Features include: Feet made from small plastic flower pots and clothespin parts, Head and torso armor built with motorcycle body pieces, Pill bottle/bubble blower side-mounted rapid-fire mortar, and missile tubes from ammunition shells. The diorama shows a local "farmer" programming the FetchBot for the day's activities.
