1989 Honda Civic

Year:  1989
Model:  Civic STD?
Mileage:  184,700
Price:  $660

There are a few things wrong with it:

I know the hood hinges need adjusting to make the back of the hood fit good.

The muffler is starting to go.

Wheels and right back quarter panel are starting to rust.

After a couple weeks I've really only found one thing wrong.  The right CV joint was clicking so it had to be replaced.  It cost $200 at Burn's Auto to have it done.  The part was over $125, so have it done was better for me.

After about 6 months and about 5000 miles I have a few other things that needed fixed..  The left CV joint is now clicking but has been replaced.

All brakes pads and rotors/drums needed replaced.  About $300.  Replaced wipers.  Replaced Distributor cap ($15) to fix cold damp starting problem.

I guy in the autocross forum was selling some nice looking Konig wheels for $200.  These have two bolt patterns, so they be more useful.  I'll have to get some pictures with them on the car.  It will be some time before I get tires too.

The Konig wheels make a big difference on the look of the car.  Below is a test fit on one side.  There is some rubbing in extreme turns, but the tread is twice as wide as stock, so that's to be expected.

From the back, you can see the difference.

Here is the side with the old wheels.
