The body lift on a Isuzu Rodeo was an easy undertaking.
I was a little intimidated by the overwhelming thought of trying to
do this thing, but once i got started it was relitivly easy. I pretty
much followed the directions found with the kit. Now, I used a kit
that was intended for a pre 97 rodeo so it was a little different. Mainly
the steering and the vaccum lines were the difference. You will need
to be careful when jacking up the body that you don't go too high or you
will risk ruining your R&P steering. There are also some vaccum
lines on the drivers side under the car that will require leignthing. These
are important for actuating the 4wd system. Also, the fan shroud will
need to be modified. The botom of the shroud will have to be removed
to allow the fan to function properly. You will also have to think
about modifying the filler neck for your gas tank. I simply cut mine
and used a pice of stainless steel exaust tubeing to leignthen it. Make
sure you use hose clamps on both sides-- crank them down hard and re-check
them for leaks. The main idea is that you get the bolts in good and
snug, re-check them for tightness after about 100 miles, then again at 500
miles. Make sure you use the lock tight supplied with the kit too,
it will provide extra holding streignth.
