ARB BUMPER

I chose the ARB bumper because it was one of the few choices I had when looking for a bumper.  This bumper is actually designed to fit a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee.  The frame rail spacing was about right, so I used it on mine.  I did have to fabricate some mounts, but it all worked out alright especially because I was able to adjust for the 3” body lift.  I believe that ARB and Joe Darlington are now producing a quality bumper for the 2nd Gen Rodeo.  I think that either one of them would be of high quality.

One thing I wish I had put more thought into when buying a bumper was the capability of having a winch.  I did not think that I would ever want one, but now I wish I could have one.  I’ll try to mount it else where, but the bumper is awful convenient.  You also need to think about weight.  This is a lot of steel to replace your plastic bumper.  Take these things into consideration.
