Big Fork South, September 2000 This place was absolutely beautiful. It was an impromptu 3 day vacation about 3 hours from Nashville. We found the Bed and Breakfast and national forest in a book called "Day Trips from Nashville". |
We spent two days hiking, and as you can see we are not in the best of shape, but we had a great time huffing and puffing along the trails. Unfortunately I didn't write down the trail information to go with the pictures. |

The top two pictures are an overlook of the panoramic picture. That was the toughest hiking day. The photo to the left was on the second day, it was also a beautiful overlook point of a winding river. The bottom two pictures were taken right before we left at a cave site where Indians used to live. |
I am becoming quite the expert at camera proping to get both of us in the frame. |
Mike is a closet Dukes of Hazard fan, so look closely at the sign he is beside. He insisted we take this picture. Well, maybe insist is too strong a word:) |
