Big Fork South, September 2000
This place was absolutely beautiful. It was an impromptu 3 day vacation about 3 hours from Nashville. We found the Bed and Breakfast and national forest in a book called "Day Trips from Nashville".
We spent two days hiking, and as you can see we are not in the best of shape, but we had a great time huffing and puffing along the trails. Unfortunately I didn't write down the trail information to go with the pictures.
The top two pictures are an overlook of the panoramic picture.  That was the toughest hiking day.  The photo to the left was on the second day, it was also a beautiful overlook point of a winding river.  The bottom two pictures were taken right before we left at a cave site where Indians used to live.
I am becoming quite the expert at camera proping to get both of us in the frame.
Mike is a closet Dukes of Hazard fan, so look closely at the sign he is beside.  He insisted we take this picture. Well, maybe insist is too strong a word:)
