The Doctor Who Page

He is a traveler in Time and Space, a cosmic hobo whose only home is an old time machine that he stole from his people, the Time Lords of Gallifrey. A man of mystery who appears when he is needed, anytime, anyplace, to help those in need.

He is an Alien with more humanity then some humans, an eccentric whose strange fashion sense and starling manners hides a sharp mind. He has the ability to regenerate twelve times into a different apperance when he is near death. He has already used this abilty seven times, each rengenaration a distinct and seperate personality, yet with the same underlining sense of honor, the drive to meddle when things are not right, and the ability to out-think most of his enemies.

He is a force for good, a balancer of injustices, a protector of those who cannot protect themselves. His foes include Daleks (ruthless mutants who stive to enslave all other lifeforms), Cybermen (a race more machine then flesh), Sontarans (a race of clones that live only for battle), and the Master (a renegade Time Lord who seeks power and domanation over the Universe). His only constant allies are those few that travel with him, either by choice or by accident.

He is the Doctor....

Dr Who is the classic cult Sci-fi series from England. Running from the early 60's to the late 80's, seven actors played the role of the Doctor, each stamping their mark on the character. With over one hundred multi-part stories, a hundred novels, and coutless related mementos, Dr Who is one of those few series that has had an effect on the way Science Fiction is seen in today's world.

Novel

GUARDIANS OF KALLIS
Chapters 1 - 5

The Doctor, in his seventh persona, and Mel respond to a distress signal. On a planet devistated by war, a dying alien sends the pair to the planet Kallis, where they must stop a race called the Yagoth from invading the peaceful planet.

But someone is minipulating events to satify their own ends, and the Doctor must not only stop the invasion, but stop a plan of revenge that targets the Time Lords themselves....

I sent this in to the BBC in the fall of 1999. I received a rejection letter early in 2000. So I'm posing the first five chapters I had written. Any comment on it would be greatly welcomed, as the rejection note from the BBC was not very helpful. If there's enough feedback, I'll post more of it.

Darlek Dimwit Cartoons

The Daleks are amoung the more persistent and evil of the Doctor's foes. The result of a mutation by the creator, the Daleks travel around inside heavily armed machines. They are xenophopic, nasty, and single minded to the point of obsession. They are are smart and ruthless opponets most of the time.

But not always....^_^

I created the dimwits for the Time Traveler, NARTT's newsletter back in the 1980's. They ran for a couple of years, then the club went kaput. The editor of the newsletter at one time was Jon Blum, who has co-authored several of the BBC's Dr. Who Adventures over the last several years.

Some of the jokes make not make sense unless you're up on your Virgin New Adventures and the BBC novels, as well as the rec.arts.doctorwho newsgroup.

So, here are a batch of cartoons about the silliest bunch of homicidal pepperpots that ever wielded a plunger....

Disclaimer: The Daleks are the creation of Terry Nation, and his estate still holds the copyright. There is no attempt to make money off of this, just poking some fun at the best alien race ever to come out of a TV series....
