Being born in Los Angeles, California, Jason grew up, and went to Bonita High School. At the age of 4, Jason was interested in Martial Arts. After learning at the Red Dragon Karate School, Jason, 12, taught other children, which led to him owning, Jason Frank's Toso Kune Do Karate. With over 20 years of experience, Jason is a 5^th Degree Black Belt. From 1988 to 1990, Jason was internationally recognized as an award winning instructor. In 1990, Jason achieved the Grand Champion title, at the Las Vegas Winter Nationals. Only 4 years later, Jason was accepted in the Black Belt Hall of Fame. With all of his gained knowledge of Martial Arts, Jason belended it, with his own philpsiphies, to creat an 'American' Karate. Jason currently owns, as well as teaches at, The Rising Sun Karate Academy, in southern California.

During 1993, Jason was casted in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, for a short while. Jason's character, had a tough time throughout the show, but after a while of off and on, Jason was finally casted in for a long period of time, from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers to Power Rangers Turbo. During times off of Power Rangers, Jason guest starred on Sweet Valley High, and Family Matters. During 2000, Jason was a star on MTV's Undressed, for a few episodes. Jason can most recently be seen in the 2003 film, Paris.
