Michelle Trachtenberg Dawn Summers, the key to everything. Dawn was brought into this world by a group of monks, trying to hide the key, from a hell-god named Glory. Wreaking havoc across Sunnydale looking for her, Glory destroyed the minds of innocents, including Tara. It was Tara, who accidentally led Glory in Dawn's direction. After knowing what had to be done, Buffy sacrificed herself to save Dawn. Once Buffy was risen, Dawn was comfortable again, but kept stealing things everywhere she went. After getting caught, she went through a turn-around as her life changed. Later on, she was thought to be a potential slayer, but it turned out that she was a normal girl, until Willow activated her, because deep down inside, she did have the power. Dawn is now trained by Kennedy, in Staked, along with other potentials. She is getting herself ready, to prove to her sister that she isn't the little girl she once was.
