Is this the end of Tees Girls?? L

Well, after four years (or is it more?  My memories are goin with old age!) of Tees girls, we’re all going our separate ways, leaving only poor lickle suzie as a reminder of the legend that was!

This year we have mostly been:

Travelling – Elizabeth has spent the past year as a member of the jet set, spending time in Korea teaching English and ages in Australia conserving our planet!  Lizzie we missed ya!

Training – Well…. Sue, Hel and Fi have been anyway!  Thirzah decided to enter the Nationals with two weeks left to go – v. brave of you honey!  Many thanks to everyone who helped us by coaching in Johns absence – Chris K, Kate, Johnny and David etc!

Working – Hel, Thirzah and Fi have all been working as waitresses for the past year, and wasn’t it fun!  Hands up if you miss those awkward customers…  Helena’s been moving up in the world with a posh job in London, with quantity surveyors Bovis.  Three weeks before the Nat champs – cheers Bovis!!

Examined – Twas the big ‘A’ level year for Fi, Hel and Thirz.  That means exams, UCAS forms and student finance forms, oh the joy.  But fingers crossed we’re all off to the Unis of our choice next year – Hel is off to Loughbrough to study Quantity Surveying, Thirzah to Kings in London to become an EHO, and Eliz is returning from the world to learn about Astrophysics at UCL!

Road tripping – Stealing signs from toilets, practicing our spelling, singing – was there anything we didn’t do on the way to Cumbria / various regattas around the country?  All I can say is watch out Cumbria, here we come!!!

It’s the end of an era – the tees girls will be no more!!  Or will they?  Ian Smith will breathe a sigh of relief when we leave – no more Janousek jousting matches to be had!  But look out world, here we come…………….
