Today, we look at Gate Guardian's, Valkyrion the Magna Warrior.

Pros

  • Pieces are more useable
  • Easier to get out
  • Easy to get

Cons

  • Pieces have low scores
  • Pieces come in really bad game

  • Well, here we go. Valkyrion is considered to a lot of people as Gate Guardian's little brother. This is because the pieces have no butt-saving effects like Sanga, Kazejin, and Suijin do. On top of that, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma are Normal Monsters, meaning they have no effect whatsoever. Also, the weakest Gate Guardian piece have 2400 attack, a bit weak in the metagame as current, but the effect's still make them worth it. The strongest Valkyiron piece is 1700 attack. To make things ever worse for our buddy Valkyrion, his pieces come in what is probably the worst game in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh-Duelist of the Roses. ::much swaring can be heard:: However, all the being said, a Valkyrion deck is much more playable than a Gate Guardian deck. !!!! YES, I SAY! While the pieces suck and the game they come in is really bad, they are all Level 4. The Guardian pieces are Level 7, meaning two tributes! And, you can sacrifice Valkyrion to Special Summon his three pieces back to the field. That don't make it strong, though. It's still a sub-par card with sub-par pieces.

Tournement Rating: 1.2/5 It does stuff.
Casual Rating: 3.5/5 Here, it's just for bragging rights, not points.
Limited Rating: 0/5 This is far too complex for a sealed tournement. On top of that, you'd never get him in a pack or deck.
